Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues. ## Description * Executes on cross-functional scientific design experiments/ projects that contribute to overall direction of department/ discipline * Applies professional concepts to contribute to development of methods to resolve problems, ranging from identification of novel therapeutic targets to identification biomarkers for disease diagnosis, risk and progression prediction * Ensure completeness, critical evaluation, correctness and integrity of datasets and analyses * Executes the integrative analysis of both Alkahest and Grifols data sets, mainly through independent study, which are critical and have a high impact. * Serve as one of the internal contacts for pre-clinical and clinical data science and biostatistics * Contributes to the development and application of cutting-edge machine learning, deep learning, and AI technologies, including foundation models and multimodal approaches for biological, clinical, and real-world data. * Creates cross-functional networks with peers and key decision makers and serves as internal spokesperson for the organization for his/her function * Attends and participates in national and international scientific meetings * May mentor other biostatisticians and data scientists to improve the quality and quantity of their work- primary role is an individual contributor This job description is intended to present the general content and requirements for the performance of this job.
