## About the Role

* A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline (degree, HNC, HND or ONC with relevant experience).
 * Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS.
 * Knowledge of ISO 9000 design standards and quality systems.
 * An understanding of engineering design principles, manufacturing processes and regulated environments.

## Description

We're working with a busy manufacturing business in Dundee, who are looking to add a Design Engineer to their engineering department.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical design background who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and seeing their designs come to life in a manufacturing environment.

What will you be doing?

 * Creating, reviewing and approving technical drawings and specifications.
 * Developing design tools and supporting engineering projects.
 * Using CAD software to produce 2D drawings and 3D models.
 * Applying engineering principles and manufacturing knowledge to design solutions.
 * Supporting continuous improvement and sharing your knowledge with junior engineers.
