## About the Role

* At least 5 GCSE's
 * Information Security Experience (4 Years Minimum)

Qualifications:

 * Comptia Network+, Security+
 * Working towards CISM

Knowledge:

 * Strong understanding of core security technologies
 * Extensive NGAV experience (Crowdstrike preferred)
 * Information Security standards (CE+, ISO27001, IEC62443)
 * Data Protection knowledge (GDPR)
 * ISO27001, CE+, IEC62443

If so, we're looking for a talented Lead Cyber Security Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Head Office in Blackburn with support to sites., Due to Vital Energi's continued growth, we are looking for a Lead Cyber Security engineer with a passion for cyber security along with a desire to relentlessly champion best practices. The role is responsible for implementing, configuring and guiding the evolution of security. The suitable candidate will be expected to possess strong motivational skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative. This role would suit a person who wishes to develop their existing skills and make their mark in an expanding and invigorating organization., * Support implementation of security controls

 * Contribute to security policies, standards and procedures.
 * Lead security audits
 * Drive a culture of security awareness across the business through training and communications
 * Out of hours work will be required.
