## About the Role

* 5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical field.
 * 5+ years of hands-on experience in a software development role, actively writing and reviewing Java code.
 * 5+ years of experience with relational databases, ideally Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
 * 5+ years of experience writing unit and integration tests, with familiarity in at least one testing framework (JUnit, Mockito preferred).
 * 3+ years of experience using Spring/Spring Boot for enterprise application development.
 * 3+ years of experience developing robust RESTful services.
 * 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or CircleCI.
 * 2+ years of experience with any cloud platform (e.g., PCF, GCP, AWS, Azure).
 * Proven experience troubleshooting, debugging, and profiling Java applications.
 * Proficiency with Atlassian tool suites, including Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, and Confluence.
 * Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
 * Strong analytical, communication, and problem-resolution skills.
 * A solid understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies.
 * Strong ability to design for functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, performance, and privacy.
 * Extensive experience with Object-Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

 * Experience converting SOAP services to RESTful services.
