## About the Role

* 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
 * Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages such as Ruby, Python, or PERL
Strong ability to analyze existing software to generate software wrappers required toautomate input/output between discrete software packages

 * Demonstrated ability to combine multiple software projects together using scriptablelanguages
 * Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, TDD, Waterfall)
 * Expert level knowledge of security concepts, networks, device drivers, & system internals are applied in daily tasks
 * Expert knowledge in at least one technology area (e.g. Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices)
 * Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience
 * Embedded systems development experience
 * A solid understanding of assembly programming concepts
 * A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university OR 4 years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
 * An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph

## Description

* Provide design ideas for new capabilities or recommendations for improvements to existing capabilities.
 * Communicate status with leadership and customers. Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
 * Provide solutions to a variety of complex technical problems. Determine computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming.
 * Ensure software standards are met. Lead the design, development, documenting, testing and debugging of applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
 * Potentially lead a project developing hardware or software based CNO capabilities, and provides direction to other CNO developers. Plan and conduct assignments, generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project.
