## Description

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the POS Payments Experience team. You will lead a high-performing team of engineers who work hand-in-hand with PM and UX, and partner across POS and Fintech teams. Engineers on the team also contribute to our web-based POS payments configuration experience.

A day in the life (Responsibilities)

 * Drive delivery of business outcomes for POS payments, including planning, schedule, and execution
 * Drive cross-team and cross-organization efforts, especially across POS and Fintech, with predictable results and excellent collaboration
 * Collaborate closely with PM and UX to fill the team's backlog with actionable, valuable work
 * Ensure end-to-end quality and delivery of software, including ownership of monitoring and production issues
 * Partner with technical leaders to set technical direction and continuously improve architecture, codebase, and engineering practice
 * Hire and develop new team members
 * Coach individuals in professional and technical development
 * Champion the use of AI tools and practices to accelerate development, improve team velocity, and pioneer new ways of building, setting the bar for what it means to be an AI-first engineering organization
