## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud technologies, and Agile delivery, along with proven design, mentoring, and delivery leadership skills. The Feature Lead is expected to remain actively involved in coding, debugging, code reviews, solution design, and production troubleshooting., * 7+ years of Java development experience with 2+ years leading development teams or providing hands-on technical leadership

 * Recent hands-on Java/Spring Boot experience and be capable of contributing directly to complex development and troubleshooting activities, in addition to leading the team
 * Strong hands-on Java development experience; Java 17+ preferred, with experience in Java 8/11/17+ environments
 * Spring Boot and Spring Framework; REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
 * SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
 * Kafka, MQ, or other messaging platforms
 * Maven or Gradle and Git-based development
 * JUnit 5, Mockito, and automated unit/integration testing practices
 * Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
 * Container platforms such as OpenShift and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
 * Secure coding, code quality/static analysis, and vulnerability remediation experience
 * Strong problem-solving, debugging, performance troubleshooting, and production support experience
 * Agile/Scrum experience with proven technical/team leadership skills
 * GitHub Copilot adoption with the ability to use AI-assisted development while maintaining coding, testing, security, and engineering standards

## Description

This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards.
