## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
 * Strong knowledge of:
 + TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN
 + LAN/WAN technologies
 * Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment
 * Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.)
 * Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
 * Knowledge of network security best practices
 * Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

 * Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+)
 * Experience with cloud networking (AWS / Azure)
 * Experience in government or public sector projects
 * Knowledge of VoIP and wireless technologies
 * Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python - basic), * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

## Description

* Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN)
 * Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
 * Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
 * Manage network security including access control, firewall rules, and IDS/IPS
 * Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning
 * Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures
 * Ensure network compliance with security and regulatory standards
 * Support incident response and disaster recovery activities
 * Collaborate with system administrators and application teams
 * Provide on-call or after-hours support as required
