## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
 * Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus
 * Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or progress toward obtaining the EIT is strongly preferred
 * Basic proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
 * Understanding of fundamental civil engineering theories, principles, and design practices
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
 * Experience with MicroStation is a plus
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
 * Ability to learn new technical skills and software quickly
 * Ability to manage assignments and meet project deadlines
 * Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
 * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for field and project assignments

## Description

* Support civil and site design for land development, airport, mixed-use, residential, higher education, and other infrastructure projects
 * Assist with the preparation of site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater designs, and other civil engineering deliverables
 * Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist with engineering design, calculations, plans, and drawings
 * Coordinate civil design activities with other engineering and design disciplines
 * Perform engineering calculations and apply fundamental civil engineering principles to project work
 * Research engineering and design issues, evaluate alternatives, and assist with developing practical solutions
 * Support project teams in meeting schedules, budgets, and technical requirements
 * Assist licensed Professional Engineers with project design and documentation
 * Participate in field assignments, site visits, and other project-related activities as needed
 * Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation
 * Collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, and other team members throughout the project lifecycle
