## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
 * 7-9 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments.
 * Strong hands-on development experience with: Java Spring Boot Microservices Apache Kafka AWS and/or Azure MongoDB or similar persistent storage technologies Angular and/or React
 * Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
 * Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
 * Experience supporting production applications and performing root cause analysis.
 * Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
 * Experience with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through verbal communication, documentation, code, and diagrams.
 * Ability to work onsite three days per week in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

## Description

DXC Technology is looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our team supporting a large enterprise client in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with strong experience building and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, cloud technologies, and modern front-end frameworks.

The position follows a hybrid work model and requires onsite presence at the client location three days per week in the Dallas/Fort Worth area., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architectures.

 * Build and support event-driven applications and integrations using Apache Kafka.
 * Develop modern front-end solutions using Angular and/or React.
 * Design and integrate RESTful APIs and other integration services.
 * Develop and support solutions hosted in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.
 * Work with persistent storage technologies, including MongoDB.
 * Build, deploy, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
 * Participate in CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
 * Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
 * Improve application performance, resiliency, reliability, security, and maintainability.
 * Develop and maintain automated testing strategies and frameworks.
 * Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
 * Contribute to technical design discussions and identify opportunities to improve existing systems and engineering practices.
 * Document technical solutions, processes, and application designs.
 * Support and mentor less experienced engineers by sharing technical knowledge and development best practices.
