## Description

ZipStaff is hiring an experienced Software Engineer for a leading healthcare technology and payment-integrity organization. Working with the development team, you will build and maintain a legacy claim auditing system, analyzing needs and the operating environment so that every solution fits the current architecture while supporting future functionality and enhancements. This role calls for a self-motivated engineer with deep SQL and database development skills.
What You'll Do:

 * Build, enhance and maintain a legacy claim auditing system alongside the development team.
 * Analyze business needs and the existing environment to design solutions that fit the current architecture and operating environment.
 * Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL code, including queries, stored procedures and data logic.
 * Work with Hadoop-based data and develop supporting components in Python and Java.
 * Plan for future functionality and enhancements as part of solution design.
 * Proactively take on tasks, assist colleagues and share ideas and information across the team.
 * Handle confidential healthcare data with sensitivity and care.
