## About the Role

Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in desktop support, help desk operations, or workstation-focused technical support.

 * Solid working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 in an enterprise environment.
 * Experience supporting desktop hardware, PC workstations, and device imaging processes.
 * Familiarity with software deployment practices and endpoint management tools.
 * Working knowledge of Active Directory for basic user administration and access support.
 * Strong problem-solving skills paired with detail-oriented, user-focused customer service.
 * Ability to work independently in a fully onsite support role.
 * Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, or Autopilot is preferred; prior support in education or public-sector settings is a plus. ## Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to deliver hands-on technical support for end users in Edina, Minnesota. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working onsite, resolving workstation issues, and helping maintain a reliable desktop environment. The role focuses on supporting Windows devices, assisting with software distribution, and contributing to endpoint management activities in an education setting. This role is open as a coverage for an employee out and is expected to last in the 5-10 week range., * Provide in-person support for desktop and laptop users, diagnosing and resolving day-to-day technical issues across Windows-based systems.

 * Set up, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and standard business applications to ensure dependable performance.
 * Roll out software packages and operating system updates while helping keep devices current and secure.
 * Assist with workstation preparation, imaging, deployment, and new user setup to support smooth onboarding and device readiness.
 * Support endpoint administration tasks involving Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot within the device management environment.
 * Investigate and resolve hardware failures, software problems, access concerns, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
 * Respond to employee support requests with a strong service mindset and clear communication throughout the resolution process.
 * Record incidents, troubleshooting steps, and completed solutions to maintain accurate support documentation.
