## About the Role

* 6+ years of strong Java expertise building production-grade services.
 * 6+ years of hands-on API development experience, including RESTful services and API security.
 * Cloud deployment experience on GCP and/or equivalent cloud platforms.
 * 2+ solid experience with access management protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0.
 * Proven experience building and operating high-criticality systems with strict SLAs, including observability and production troubleshooting.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java services supporting REST-based APIs with strong security subject-matter expertise.
 * Build cloud-native, horizontally scalable services deployed on GCP and/or equivalent public cloud platforms.
 * Develop and secure APIs using OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SAML-based authentication and authorization flows.
 * Scale and operate resilient systems with strict reliability targets, including API latency SLAs, throughput, and availability requirements.
 * Own the build * deploy * run lifecycle, including CI/CD automation, monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and production support., * Work on mission-critical, security-sensitive platforms where reliability and performance are engineered end-to-end.
 * Build and operate services at scale with clear reliability expectations and continuous improvement.
 * Collaborate closely with platform, security, SRE, and product teams to deliver complete solutions.
 * Use AI-assisted development tools (for example, Copilot in agentic mode) to accelerate development and improve quality.
 * Contribute to architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
