## About the Role

* 4+ years of professional software development experience post-graduation
 * Strong proficiency in .NET and TypeScript or Node.js
 * Strong understanding of backend development, API design, distributed systems, and GraphQL
 * Experience designing and delivering production software with increasing levels of ownership and complexity
 * Experience troubleshooting and supporting applications in production environments
 * Ability to write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and effectively review the work of other engineers
 * Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with Sierra AI or similar platforms for building agentic communication experiences
 * Experience with IVR (Interactive Voice Response), IVA (Intelligent Virtual Assistant), conversational AI, or contact center technologies
 * Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
 * Experience building AI or machine learning-driven applications
 * Experience designing scalable, highly available backend services
 * Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET and TypeScript to support AI-driven agent platforms
 * Build and optimize TypeScript-based agents that power phone and chat communication experiences
 * Own technical solutions from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI agent solutions with existing systems and infrastructure
 * Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions for high-volume communication workflows
 * Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and provide thoughtful feedback through code reviews
 * Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and observability
 * Mentor less-experienced engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and standards
 * Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve our AI-driven customer experiences, This role may include participation in an on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure service reliability. On-call responsibilities may include coverage during nights and weekends. If applicable, frequency and scheduling will be determined by team needs and communicated accordingly.
