## About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Integration and Development Engineer to join the Digital Intelligence team at BAE Systems., * Proven experience in systems integration and development within complex communications, defence, tactical networking or comparable engineering environments.

 * Strong systems engineering knowledge, including requirements analysis, architecture development, interface management, verification, validation and acceptance.
 * Practical experience integrating COTS hardware, software, networking equipment and associated services.
 * Good understanding of IP networking, routing, WAN technologies and secure network design.
 * Experience working with tactical communications, gateways, radios, routers, sensors or interconnected network services.

## Description

* Leading and coordinating engineering activities across the design, development, integration, testing and delivery lifecycle.
 * Translating user requirements, stories and operational needs into practical engineering tasks and deliverable solutions.
 * Developing, integrating and configuring tactical edge gateway solutions using COTS hardware, software, networking, virtualisation and containerisation technologies.
 * Integrating tactical radios, routers, sensors and alternative communications bearers to deliver interoperable and scalable solutions.
 * Developing and maintaining technical architectures, interface definitions, configuration records, bills of materials and engineering documentation.
