* A relevant qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, IT Support, or an equivalent technical discipline, or demonstrable practical IT support experience.
 * Previous experience in an IT Technician, IT Support Assistant, Helpdesk Technician, or similar technical support role, ideally within an educational environment.
 * Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting procedures.
 * Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and prioritise support requests effectively.
 * An enhanced DBS check with the appropriate barred list check where legally required (or willingness to undergo the necessary checks), alongside a strong commitment to safeguarding, confidentiality, and data protection.

Working closely with teaching staff, administrative teams, school leadership, and external IT providers, you will provide first-line technical assistance, support classroom technology, and contribute to the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the school's IT systems.

 * Assist with the administration of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and educational software platforms used across the school.
 * Monitor IT equipment, maintain accurate asset records, and coordinate repairs, software updates, and routine system maintenance.
 * Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures, data protection procedures, and appropriate online safety practices in line with school policies.
