You present yourself professionally and courteously, understand the needs of those you're speaking with, and explain technical concepts in a way that non-technical departments can understand. * Basic experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and IT Service Management (ITSM): You know how IT assets are managed from procurement through decommissioning, and you're familiar with ticket processes from your day-to-day work. * In-depth knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory * Linux fundamentals: You're comfortable with the command line and log files, and you'll deepen your knowledge with us. * Basic knowledge of web servers and databases such as MariaDB or MySQL, including simple SQL queries. You are familiar with network protocols such as DNS and LDAP. * You systematically narrow down errors and identify connections between applications and the system. * A structured, independent work style and thorough documentation * Willingness to travel for client meetings related to proof-of-concepts and MVP projects * Very good German and good English, as vendor documentation is usually in English * A plus, but not required * Experience with GLPI or Teclib products * Experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) or with ITIL processes * Scripting skills, for example in PowerShell or Bash * Experience with virtualization or Docker * Experience with Intune or SCCM * Knowledge of REST APIs * Certifications such as ITIL Foundation or FitSM Foundation * If you're not yet familiar with GLPI, we'll train you. For this, we're looking for someone who is technically proficient and enjoys working with customers. You understand what our customers need in their day-to-day work and act as a bridge between IT and business departments. Your Responsibilities * Implementation * You'll install and configure GLPI remotely in our customers' system environments, including on Docker-based platforms. You'll also help manage test and staging systems. * For proof-of-concept and MVP projects, you'll provide technical support to our consultants, including on-site at the customer's location. * You'll integrate GLPI with Active Directory or Entra ID and set up roles and permissions. * You will deploy the GLPI Agent and test inventory management and software distribution. You will integrate existing tools such as Intune or SCCM as needed. * You'll set up plugins and interfaces and thoroughly document each client installation. * Operations and Support * You'll serve as the point of contact for our clients' IT teams when something isn't working on their GLPI platform, and you'll resolve issues through 1st- and 2nd-level support, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You'll remain friendly and courteous, even when the client is in a bind. * You'll systematically analyze issues using logs, simple SQL queries, and technical tests. * You'll apply updates and patches for GLPI itself and for the underlying system: Linux, web server, PHP, and database. You'll keep an eye on security advisories and compatibility issues. * You'll perform health checks and verify backups and restores. This allows you to identify problems before they turn into outages. * Further Development * You'll contribute your experience from client projects and help us further develop liop® iQ, for example through the implementation of standards and automation.
