## About the Role

Work Requirements

Candidates must currently reside in Utah and be available for a hybrid schedule in the Salt Lake County area. The agency provides a laptop for remote work; developers must provide their own monitors, docking station if needed, keyboard, and mouse. ## Description

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to develop, maintain, and modernize mission-critical applications supporting criminal justice and government operations.

The developer will work within an Agile software development team on complex enterprise applications, including new development, legacy modernization, system integrations, and application enhancements.

This role requires strong full-stack Java development experience, including modern Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, and relational databases. The selected candidate will also use AI-assisted coding tools and techniques as part of the development process.

Candidates with previous experience supporting Corrections, Courts, Law Enforcement, Public Safety, or other criminal justice systems are strongly preferred., * Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack Java web applications.

 * Build backend applications using Java 11/21, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, and JPA.
 * Develop front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS3, and SASS.
 * Build REST APIs, microservices, and integrations with internal and external systems.
 * Develop database connections, business logic, notifications, reports, and application functionality.
 * Maintain websites, web forms, authentication, access controls, and security protocols.
 * Perform version control, configuration management, builds, merges, and application maintenance.
 * Develop test cases and validate application functionality, performance, accessibility, and data integrity.
