Industry experience in Marine Container Terminals or Distribution Centers is highly desirable. * Technical Expertise: Working experience with Linux, Windows, and Database Management Systems (SQL Server). Familiarity with programming (C#, C++, Python, or Java) as well as GPS, PLC, WiFi, RFID, RTLS, sensors, and control systems. * Analytical Skills: Demonstrated data-analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with proven knowledge of networking technologies and web-based enterprise solutions. * Competencies: Strong customer service, writing, and oral communication skills. You are results-oriented, flexible under tight deadlines, and capable of working well under pressure both independently and in a team. * Safety & Availability: Strong awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Must be willing to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and available for local business travel (<25%). ## Description Kalmar Automation Solutions is looking for an Automation Support Engineer, Port & Terminal Equipment to join our team supporting customers located at Pier 400 in San Pedro, CA.
