## About the Role

* 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise building backend systems in Golang.
 * Solid understanding of Go's concurrency model (goroutines, channels), along with testing, profiling, and idiomatic Go practices.
 * Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures, with a proven track record in high-traffic, large-scale environments.
 * Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB), including scalable data modeling and performance optimization.
 * Experience building and operating cloud-native applications on GCP or AWS, with production experience on Kubernetes.
 * Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
 * Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

 * Professional experience building frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, and GraphQL.
 * Experience building recommendation systems, personalization engines, or search infrastructure.

What you'll build and own

 * Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang.
 * Develop and optimize distributed systems that support high traffic volumes and critical platform functionality.
 * Architect and implement cloud-native solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
 * Design and manage scalable data storage solutions across SQL and NoSQL databases.
 * Deploy, monitor, and maintain production services running on Kubernetes.
 * Improve system observability and reliability through monitoring, automation, and performance optimization.
 * Contribute to architectural discussions and troubleshoot complex production issues.
 * Collaborate closely with product, frontend, platform, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
