## About the Role

Software Engineering, Python Programming/Scripting Language, Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment/Delivery, Entrepreneurship, Communication Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Testing, Test Case, A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position., Five (5) years' experience with being a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results in while performing system testing of complex systems. Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience maybe substituted for a bachelor's degree., * Python development (preferably using virtual environments)

 * Experience with Python test automation frameworks (pytest, others)
 * Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
 * Experience with version control software like git and subversion
 * Experience with common networking protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, Ethernet) and protocol analysis preferred.
 * Shall have knowledge and experience in three (3) or more of the following:
 + System Requirements Analysis
 + Software System Design
 + Software System Development
 + Software System Integration
 + Software System Testing
 * Experience in four (4) or more of the following:
 + Developing software applications in C, C++, or Java
 + Developing software applications for Unix, Linux, or Windows environments
 + Developing DLLs for the Windows environment

 + Object-oriented programming

## Description

Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms. Generate test cases based on defined requirements and product functionality. Perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts. Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner. Create test documents such as test plans, requirements verification traceability matrices, and test summary reports, and provide analysis of test procedures.
