The GIS Data Analyst will work at the intersection of data analysis, programming and cartography. The role designs and maintains spatial datasets and workflows, performs repeatable geospatial analyses, and publishes maps, dashboards, and reports that support operational and strategic decision-making. This position is expected to apply governance and quality standards so that spatial data remains accurate, auditable, and aligned across systems., Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Develop and adhere to organizational standards. 2. Conduct research to develop datastores of data used in analysis. 3. Analyze spatial data through mapping software. 4. Design digital maps using geographic data and various other datasets. 5. Discover patterns and trends through special mapping of data and provide coherent conclusions from analysis. 6. Produce maps showing the spatial distribution of various kinds of data, including statistics, density, and project viability. 7. Manage a digital library of geographic maps in various file types. 8. Produce reports on geographic data using data visualizations. 9. Create Dashboards and spatial workflows. 10.
