## About the Role

-ML/ SDE lifecycle knowledge/ experience
-Vertex AI experience
-SQL (need to have experience but python is more important)
-solid engineering experience like being able to build an API from scratch, etc., · Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer (3 years) performing: Experience in software engineering with exposure to data models and GenAI applications; Hands-on experience with model evaluation, performance tracking, and automation; Familiarity with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.) and vector databases for RAG; and Understanding of machine learning fundamentals to integrate and monitor models effectively.
· Proficiency in Python programming language
· Experience with RDBMS & NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, BigQuery)
· Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
· Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure)
· Understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows, · Experience/knowledge of agentic workflows
· Familiarity with Vertex AI & Azure OpenAI
· Experience working with LLMs and RAGs
· Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP)
· Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Ray, Dark)
· Experience with streaming data technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, PubSub)
· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Education
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
· Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer) are a plus
