This role supports one of the greatest humanitarian programs ever established. The Database Admin Architect will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of large-scale PostgreSQL environments that power mission-critical federal operations., * Manage, maintain, secure, monitor, and optimize PostgreSQL databases for high availability and performance.

 * Perform database monitoring, health checks, and performance tuning.
 * Oversee installation, configuration, updates, and server patching.
 * Write and optimize complex SQL queries for analysis, transformation, and reporting.
 * Architect scalable, secure, high-performance database solutions.
 * Integrate PostgreSQL with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EC2, and Glue.
 * Apply AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, VPC, security groups).
 * Design and implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and failover strategies (Multi-AZ, read replicas).
 * Ensure compliance with federal security, privacy, and data-management policies.
 * Provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers.
 * Perform additional duties as assigned.
