## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
 * 8+ years of professional software development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on
Python.

 * Strong experience building production-grade applications with FastAPI, and a solid grasp of
REST API design and backend architecture.

 * Experience with asynchronous programming in Python.
 * Experience integrating applications with Snowflake and working with Databricks.
 * Experience with Apache Iceberg tables and modern lakehouse architectures.
 * Experience developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
 * Experience building AI-enabled or GenAI applications, including LLM integration (Azure OpenAI,
OpenAI, Anthropic or similar).

 * Experience with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
 * Experience with MLflow or MLOps practices.
 * Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
 * Experience with Docker and writing unit, integration and automated tests.
 * Excellent debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and
collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

 * Front-end experience with a modern framework such as React or Angular and TypeScript.
 * Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions or Azure App Services.
 * Experience with Azure API Management, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Event Hubs or Service
Bus.

 * Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools, and with Azure DevOps CI/CD.
 * Familiarity with Spark and PySpark.
 * Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
 * Exposure to telecommunications, financial services or other large enterprise environments.
