## About the Role

* Must be based in Ruston, Louisiana.

## Description

HGA is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our development team in Ruston, Louisiana. In this role, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, ensuring seamless integration of server-side logic with user-facing elements. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand how their processes actually work, including the decisions, handoffs, and exceptions, and translate them into structured data models, working Python/Django applications, and AI-assisted workflows. You will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance web applications., * Develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python and Django

 * Build, maintain, and enhance front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
 * Design relational data models and develop database schemas, migrations, and data imports using PostgreSQL
 * Lead requirements and process discovery with stakeholders, mapping workflows, roles, decisions, dependencies, handoffs, and exceptions, and translating them into application requirements
 * Design and build AI-assisted workflows, including source-grounded (retrieval-augmented) approaches, agent workflows, and human-in-the-loop approval controls
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users to create user-friendly interfaces and support the adoption of new systems
 * Write and maintain technical documentation, user guidance, and training resources.
