## About the Role

* Experience in HIL testing for EV, HEV, or automotive systems
 * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related)
 * Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink
 * Experience with HIL platforms (dSPACE, NI, ETAS)
 * Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape)
 * Programming experience in Python
 * Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet protocols
 * Understanding of diagnostics (UDS) and fault management
 * Exposure to functional safety (ISO 26262)

## Description

* Develop and maintain HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) models for EV systems including motors, inverters, driveline, and braking systems
 * Design and execute automated test cases for torque delivery, regenerative braking, traction control, and fault scenarios
 * Perform fault injection testing (sensor, actuator, network, thermal faults)
 * Validate diagnostics (UDS, DIDs, DTCs, service routines)
 * Ensure system safety behavior aligned with ISO 26262 concepts
 * Develop automation scripts using Python and CAPL
 * Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
 * Analyze test failures and generate defect reports with logs (MDF, BLF)
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (controls, systems, diagnostics, safety)
 * Maintain HIL infrastructure including rigs, I/O mapping, and restbus simulation
 * Support traceability from requirements to test results
