## About the Role

* Proven experience in a hands-on infrastructure support or administration role
 * Good working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, networking, firewalls and backup solutions
 * Experience with Sophos, Veeam and Microsoft Intune is preferred
 * Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, hybrid identity environments and IT security best practice is advantageous
 * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and prioritise competing demands
 * Effective communication with technical and non-technical colleagues
 * Methodical approach, strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement

## Description

* Maintain and support our UK-wide IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, reliable and efficient
 * Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, networking, Sophos security and Veeam backups
 * Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and manage updates and changes
 * Support disaster recovery and compliance activities
 * Maintain technical documentation and develop PowerShell scripts to improve processes
 * Act as an escalation point for IT Technicians
 * Work with external support partners and contribute to ongoing infrastructure projects
