## About the Role

* Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Enterprise Architect delivering complex technology transformation programmes.
 * Strong expertise designing RESTful API architectures, API management strategies, and enterprise integration solutions.
 * Extensive experience with microservices, service-oriented architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed platforms.
 * Experience delivering cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
 * Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and integration patterns including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, REST, JSON, and API Gateway technologies.
 * Demonstrable experience producing High-Level Designs (HLDs), solution options, architecture assessments, and technical governance documentation.
 * Strong engineering mindset with a focus on scalability, resilience, security, and operational excellence.
 * Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices, including Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.
 * Experience leading technology evaluations and vendor selection exercises.
 * Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from engineering teams through to senior leadership and C-suite executives.
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 * Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and industry architecture best practices.

## Description

We're looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale technology solutions for major Financial Services organisations.

This is a key role within our architecture practice, focused on delivering modern, scalable solutions that connect business strategy with cutting-edge technology. You'll work across complex transformation programmes, helping clients modernise Legacy platforms, implement cloud-native architectures, and unlock value through AI-driven innovation.

A major focus of this role will be designing and governing API-first architectures, ensuring secure, scalable, and reusable integration capabilities through RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Lead the design and ownership of end-to-end solution and technical architectures across enterprise environments.
 * Define scalable, secure, and resilient architectures spanning RESTful APIs, enterprise integration, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud technologies.
 * Design API strategies, API governance models, and integration patterns that enable seamless connectivity between systems, applications, and data platforms.
 * Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
 * Produce architecture deliverables including High-Level Designs (HLDs), solution options, technical roadmaps, and impact assessments.
 * Guide clients through architecture best practices and technology decision-making.
 * Support delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and operational readiness.
 * Design and deliver next-generation solutions leveraging Generative AI and Agentic AI architectures.
 * Provide technical leadership during client engagements, bids, proposals, and strategic discussions.
 * Contribute to architecture standards, reusable frameworks, accelerators, and innovative go-to-market propositions.
