## About the Role

* A strong background in software engineering, with experience leading engineering teams.
 * Proven experience in Solution Architecture or a similar technical architecture role.
 * Strong understanding of architectural principles, frameworks and delivery methodologies.
 * Experience across multiple architectural domains, with a specialism in at least one of Business, Data, Application, Technology or Security Architecture.
 * Experience designing and delivering complex applications and technology solutions.
 * Cloud experience across AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform.
 * Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, MODAF or Zachman.
 * Experience with modelling tools such as UML, ArchiMate or Ardoq.
 * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decisions.

Experience with wider technology platforms including Oracle, IBM and Salesforce would also be beneficial.

We are looking for a talented Solution Architect to join a growing Digital & Data team, working across a diverse range of sectors and technology environments.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on technical expertise with architectural leadership, influencing the design and delivery of innovative solutions for a variety of clients.
The Role

 * Design and assure end-to-end solution architectures across complex technology programmes.
 * Define architectural vision, technical direction and engineering standards.
 * Produce key architecture artefacts, including High-Level Designs, Technical Options Papers and Key Design Decisions.
 * Work closely with engineering teams, taking a lead SME role and establishing architectural guardrails.
 * Provide technical leadership across application, data, business, technology and security architecture.
 * Support clients with technology strategy, cost estimation and transformation planning.
 * Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
 * Work across multiple projects, technologies and client environments.
