## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or equivalent)
 * Proficiency in CAD software (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or equivalent)
 * Working knowledge of design principles, tolerance analysis and GD&T
 * Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards
 * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
 * Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
 * Authorization to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have experience could include:

 * Experience in regulated industries or ISO 13485 (medical device) environments
 * Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or simulation tools
 * Experience with design failure analysis or FMEA
 * Project management or Agile experience
 * Additional certifications in quality or design engineering

## Description

* Contributing to the design and development of mechanical, electrical or control systems from initial concept through to production
 * Supporting the creation of design documentation, drawings, specifications and technical reports to ISO 9001 standards
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance and project management to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet requirements
 * Participating in design reviews, tolerance analysis and failure mode assessment
 * Supporting prototype development and testing activities
 * Liaising with suppliers and external partners on component specifications and technical queries
 * Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and design process refinement, Most roles of this type offer the following, dependent on the industry and seniority of the role:
