## About the Role

* 7+ years of proven experience in data engineering, data analysis, and manipulation in complex environments
 * Degree-level education or above (preferred)
 * Significant knowledge and capability of Microsoft Azure toolset and Databricks
 * Significant knowledge of market-leading BI and analytics tools, processes, and outputs
 * Proven experience leading data-centric or technical projects end-to-end
 * Proven experience in mentoring, guiding, or managing technical teams in the use of technical software, design, modelling, and information management
 * Strong knowledge of data security, quality, and accuracy tools and processes
 * Experience delivering in continuous delivery automated tool chains
 * Experience working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines
 * Basic AI knowledge and genuine interest in AI-driven solutions

About the Job We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our analytics team. In this role, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and operationalizing analytics solutions for our customers. You will drive the creation of a centralized capability for integrating and automating data across business areas, while championing how analytics tools can deliver real business value through impactful use cases. What You Do

 * Design and develop scalable data pipelines and data models (ETL/ELT) from various sources
 * Develop and maintain cloud-based data warehouses optimized for analytical workloads
 * Implement integration between on-premises and cloud-based data systems
 * Optimize query performance and resource utilization
 * Set up data governance frameworks ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR)
 * Develop data quality monitoring and validation processes across pipelines
 * Collaborate with business SMEs and cross-functional teams to scope and deliver use cases end-to-end
