## About the Role

 * Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
 * Building production microservices with Spring Boot and Java (21+), including Virtual Threads, Records, and Pattern Matching
 * Working with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Avro Serialization, Schema Registry)
 * Building production React SPAs with TypeScript (complex forms, data grids, role-based access control), including Redux Toolkit
 * MongoDB in production environments (aggregation pipelines, change streams, indexing, sharding, performance tuning)
 * Expertise in RESTful API Design (OpenAPI 3.0, SpringDoc, versioning) and microservices architecture (Event-Driven, CQRS, Saga Patterns)
 * Proficiency in testing frameworks including JUnit 5, Spring Boot Test, and Playwright
 * Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting) with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
 * Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations
 * Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
