## Description

Embedded SW Engineer. C++ and Linux.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join its Software Engineering team and report to the Director of Software Engineering.

This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated radio communication systems, embedded platforms, networking technologies, cybersecurity, and advanced research projects. The successful candidate will contribute across multiple layers of the system, including device drivers, networking, Linux, encryption, security, and voice communications.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced embedded engineer who enjoys working on technically challenging products and wants to have a direct impact on the development of advanced communication systems., * Develop embedded software supporting MAC (Medium Access Control) and mobile ad-hoc networking (MANET) routing protocols.

 * Design and implement network management software and web-based interfaces.
 * Develop and integrate security protocols and encryption algorithms.
 * Build audio streaming and Push-to-Talk (PTT) voice applications.
 * Evaluate and improve product security, reliability, and robustness to meet regulatory and security standards, including NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP Common Criteria.
 * Develop software used for product performance, reliability, and validation testing.
 * Develop and maintain device drivers and Board Support Packages (BSPs) for ARM- and RISC-V-based platforms.
 * Customize and configure Linux systems for embedded applications.
 * Develop Linux scripts and system utilities.
 * Troubleshoot complex embedded software, hardware, networking, and system-level issues.
 * Work closely with hardware, software, systems, and research engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
