## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems/Software Engineering (BSEE, Systems, or BSME).
 * 2-10 years of experience with hardware sets, including circuit boards, cabling, connectors, and electro-mechanical devices.
 * Understanding of ruggedized equipment, video distribution, and transmission.
 * Knowledge of system architecture and ability to develop solutions through creative thinking.
 * Experience with military or navy projects is a plus.

## Description

The Systems Engineer will engage with customers to collaborate on developing requirements for our systems. The role requires technical expertise in system development, analysis, and design of robust complex electro-mechanical systems, making recommendations for optimizing and improving systems, and developing prototypes that can integrate with other systems, including modeling and simulation efforts., * Collaborate with customers to develop requirements for PDA systems.

 * Make recommendations for optimizing and improving systems.
 * Develop prototypes and integrate them with existing systems.
 * Coordinate and perform additions and changes to hardware and software.
 * Evaluate and analyze system utilization and monitor response time.
 * Participate in planning, design, technical reviews, and implementation for new hardware and operating systems.

 * Provide technical guidance, training, and support to engineering staff.
 * Assist in testing and analysis and system improvements.
 * Transform customer requirements into specifications.
 * Perform systems engineering evaluations and trade studies.
