## About the Role

* 10+ years of relevant software development experience
 * Strong core Java skills and in-depth knowledge of concurrency and multithreaded programming
 * Experience developing low-latency pricing or trading systems in a Linux environment
 * Strong application performance profiling and optimisation experience
 * Background in one or more of OMS, market connectivity, low-latency messaging or price distribution

Additional experience that would be advantageous:

 * eFX development and zero-GC environments
 * FIX / SBE protocols
 * Aeron, 29West or other low-latency messaging technologies
 * Fault-tolerant, highly available distributed systems
 * Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
