## Description

* Monitor data center and network production environments, including enterprise servers, network connectivity, applications, midrange systems, and batch production windows.
 * Communication skills are must.
 * Ensure appropriate escalation and documentation of incidents.
 * Ability to cover all the functions performed in the data center.
 * Backup to the Shift Manager and technical leadership in solving issues.
 * Support the daily tasks and accountabilities in the datacenter as assigned by the Shift Manager.
 * Prepared and participated in a shift turnover process and discussed current and ongoing issues with the incoming shift.
 * Manage and assist support vendors while they are on site following documented procedures.
 * Participate in I.T. recovery tests by performing documented recovery steps.
 * Monitor the datacenter infrastructure components such as UPS, AC, generators, Fire Suppression Systems.
 * Monitor and escalate issues with applications, computers, network, and security systems running in the datacenter environment.
