## About the Role

* Seven (7) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
 * Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
 * Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree., * Proficiency using the Linux CLI and Linux Tools
 * Demonstrated experience administering Linux systems
 * Experience developing automation scripts (Bash/Python) to streamline operational and maintenance tasks
 * Experience with the Agency's STE/STN security compliance requirements and the ability to ensure systems adhere to established policies
 * Familiar with basic Cisco switch configuration
 * Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and container
 * Experience with creating, maintaining, and updating clear, accurate, and accessible technical documentation

Desired Skills:

 * Experience administering Windows systems
 * Experience with NetApp storage devices
 * Experience with virtualization technologies including vSphere/vCenter
 * Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and Confluence
