The Restore System Administrator role requires: * Education: * Technical training, relevant certification(s), or degree. * Experience: * 5+ years of related IT/system administration experience. * Technical & Professional Skills: * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Quick learner with high attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Ability to work effectively and independently. * Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and documentation. * Solid technical support skills for complex hardware, software, and system issues. * Clearance & Certifications: * Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. * Must be 8570 compliant with a Security+ certification. ## Description Data Restore & Backup Operations * Restore files, user profiles, and mailboxes using backup applications such as NetBackup, Avamar, and Commvault. * Work in a Data Center environment to handle tape movement and management to support data restores. * Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. Disaster Recovery & Continuity * Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems and services. * Participate in disaster recovery drills and business continuity planning. Customer Support & File Management * Assist customers with file management, profile standards, and email organization. * Apply knowledge of profile and permission structures to support user access and security. * Manage ticket resolution in alignment with SLAs, ensuring timely and effective issue handling. Documentation, Reporting & Collaboration * Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes. * Create reports on system performance, security incidents, and other key metrics. * Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT services. * Provide recommendations for system improvements based on analysis and industry best practices.
