## About the Role

Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Principal Software Engineer to join their team at Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This is a Hybrid position., * Twenty (20) or more years of experience with the following web application and/or front-end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 4 years additional experience might be substituted for a degree.

## Description

* Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
 * Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects
 * Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
 * Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
 * Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
 * Conduct design and code reviews
 * Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
 * Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
 * Complete medium to large features independently without mandatory guidance
 * Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems
