## About the Role

* A deep and proven understanding of AI/ML, including ML frameworks, public cloud and commercial AI/ML solutions
 * Demonstrated experience with Pytorch, SageMaker, HuggingFace is required
 * Image Processing, Computer Vision, Generative AI experience is a MUST
 * Validated expertise in creation and optimization as well as operation of GPU intensive ML workloads in production environments
 * Deep understanding of model serving, orchestration, scaling and GPU resource management
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills - building strong relationships with internal customers and external partners
 * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
 * A passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in AI/ML - in the cloud and on device
 * A Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent confirmed experience

## Description

* Engage with Applied Research (and Research) groups and design end-to-end machine learning solutions that have organizational-wide impact using innovative architectures
 * Contribute to the backend services for Firefly that power the generative AI features on Firefly website, Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, Stock and other applications/surfaces
 * Design and develop GPU optimized, efficient model pipelines for new Firefly features serving a variety of modalities like images, vectors, 3D, etc.
 * Ensure the system architecture and design deliver a scalable, reliable cloud service with observability, logging and tracing to enable quick detection, understanding and resolution of run-time issues
 * Contribute to the architecture and design of the internal AI Inference Platform that will handle and serve a collection of ML models in a highly scalable and resilient system
