## About the Role

* Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
 * Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity., * Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
 * Experience developing scripts using Bash/Python
 * Recent software development experience using Java
 * Recent software development experience using the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration
 * Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
 * Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
 * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containers
 * Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes
 * Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services in a Kubernetes environment
 * Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
 * Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as Bamboo and GitLab CI
 * Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools including Ansible
 * Experience using Git Source Control System

Desired Skills:

 * Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
