## About the Role

## Description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Software Developer to add to our Platform Mission Applications Team. The Platform Mission Applications team members are responsible for integrating, deploying and ensuring Continuous Delivery (CD) of Mission Partner Mission Applications across all the fabrics utilizing tools such as Istio, Kiali, K9s, Grafana, Keycloak, Gitlab, Kustomize, Helm and ArgoCD. We develop deployment and integration manifests used to create required kubernetes objects, resources, policies, and components in order to deploy Mission Partners applications into our ecosystem.

What You'll Do

The Platform Mission Applications team members are responsible for integrating, deploying and ensuring Continuous Delivery (CD) of Mission Partner Mission Applications across all the fabrics utilizing tools such as Istio, Kiali, K9s, Grafana, Keycloak, Gitlab, Kustomize, Helm and ArgoCD. We develop deployment and integration manifests used to create required kubernetes objects, resources, policies, and components in order to deploy Mission Partners applications into our ecosystem.

Platform Mission Apps Development & Engineering (MADE): This team focusses on automation development and sustainment (i.e. GitLab Mission Partner self service deployment pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code). MADE also develops and maintains the Mission Apps Padawan site.Platform Mission Apps Customer Empowerment (MACE): This team focuses on Mission Partner onboarding (e.g. mission manifest project development/integration, mission-bootstrap integration), configuration management sustainment, and catalog sustainment.
Platform Mission Apps Tier 3 (MAT3, read "MATE"): This team focuses on Mission Partner Tier 3 support to include SOP/troubleshooting guide sustainment and sustaining Mission Applications infrastructure (e.g. mTLS gateways, third party tools, and Istio/Kyverno configurations and policies).
