## About the Role

* Strong experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or Software Test Engineer.
 * Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
 * Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
 * Experience with API testing and automation.
 * Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, JSON, and XML.
 * Experience with SQL and database testing.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
 * Experience with Git and source-control systems.
 * Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
 * Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
 * Create automated tests for web, mobile, API, and backend applications.
 * Develop reusable and scalable automation solutions using Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
 * Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
 * Develop and execute API automation tests using tools such as REST Assured, Postman, or similar technologies.
 * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
 * Analyze test failures, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
 * Participate in requirements analysis and provide input on testability and quality considerations.
 * Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
 * Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL.
 * Conduct performance, reliability, and scalability testing where required.
 * Maintain test data, test environments, and automation documentation.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
 * Mentor QA engineers and contribute to automation and testing best practices.
 * Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.
