## About the Role

* 5+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, business applications, manufacturing technology, or a related IT role
 * Hands-on, service-oriented approach and willingness to support a broad range of IT needs
 * Experience supporting an ERP system
 * Experience troubleshooting system integrations and managing third-party support to resolution
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure/Entra, Windows servers and clients, networking, virtualization, databases, cybersecurity, backup, and recovery
 * Experience coordinating IT projects, stakeholders, vendors, testing, and implementations
 * Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and customer service skills
 * Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent education and experience

Preferred:

 * Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
 * Experience in a manufacturing environment
 * Experience with Hydra or another MES, including how it connects to the network
 * Power BI, SQL, data interfaces, data warehouse, or reporting experience
 * Experience supporting shop-floor technology and working with international IT teams

## Description

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to serve as the primary local IT owner and trusted technology partner to our client's operation. This role will play a critical part in keeping systems secure and reliable, supporting business and manufacturing applications, and leading technology projects and upgrades., * Maintain local servers, networks, databases, security, Microsoft 365, laptops, printers, and other equipment

 * Handle IT onboarding and offboarding, including imaging, setting up, and retiring laptops and equipment
 * Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the MES, and connected shop-floor technology
 * Monitor integrations between business, manufacturing, and reporting systems, coordinating with internal and third-party support to resolve issues
 * Lead technology projects, upgrades, testing, rollouts, and end-user training
 * Manage backups, recovery, access controls, patching, and system documentation
 * Address security-related issues across Windows and business applications
 * Deliver responsive, customer-focused support, resolving or escalating issues based on business impact
