## About the Role

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Engineering Department supporting the Data Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization., * Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or similar roles.

 * Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
 * Proficiency in Python, Scala, SQL, and scripting languages.
 * Experience with Big Data platforms such as Databricks, EMR, Hadoop.
 * Hands-on experience with SQL database design, ETL tools, and cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

## Description

* Independently design, build, and launch new data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production.
 * Identify the data needed for business problems and implement logging to ensure data availability, working with data infrastructure to troubleshoot issues and resolve them.
 * Build data expertise and leverage data controls to ensure privacy, security, compliance, data quality, and operational efficiency.
 * Design, build, and launch new data models to support evolving business needs.
 * Support existing processes running in production and implement optimized solutions with limited guidance, working with large-scale data environments.
