## About the Role

* 2+ years building production software with Python or Node.js
 * Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or similar agent frameworks
 * Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming)
 * Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment
 * Solid version control habits
 * English proficiency sufficient for async written communication with a US-based team

## Description

We're hiring an AI Engineer to own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role, not a research role. You will not be training models. You will be building production systems on top of them.

You'll work directly with our engineering and delivery leadership to take a well-documented roadmap of automation workflows (AI-assisted WordPress development, content generation, agentic pipelines) and turn them into shipped, working systems.

This role is for someone who has already built things with LLMs and can show it.

What You'll Build

 * Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or equivalent frameworks
 * Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs including tool use and function calling
 * Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process
 * Automation pipelines that connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and our internal CMS/component library
 * MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integrations as part of our broader AI stack, * Phoenix, AZ timezone preferred but not required (MST, UTC-7) or East Coast Hours
 * Contract engagement to start, with conversion path based on performance
 * Direct access to leadership, no bureaucracy, fast feedback loops
