## Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) is seeking a motivated IT Software Engineer 1 to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications that support business operations and mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with software engineers, business analysts, and technical teams to develop reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions while following established software development standards and best practices., * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using established software engineering principles.

 * Participate in software development activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
 * Analyze user requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
 * Develop, modify, debug, and troubleshoot software applications and system enhancements.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy software solutions.
 * Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
 * Perform unit testing, integration testing, and assist with system validation activities.
