The candidate must be fluent in React Native or Flutter and comfortable operating as the sole internal mobile authority in close collaboration with an offshore development team., * 4+ years of production mobile engineering experience with React Native or Flutter - shipped apps, not prototypes * Strong cross-platform discipline - understands the tradeoffs between shared code and platform-native behavior, and knows when to break the abstraction * Experience consuming REST and FHIR APIs from mobile - pagination, error handling, token refresh, offline caching * AWS Cognito or equivalent identity/auth integration in a mobile context - token management, MFA, session handling * HIPAA-aware mobile development - secure local storage, PHI handling constraints, screenshot/clipboard controls * App Store and Google Play deployment experience - provisioning profiles, signing, phased rollouts, rejection handling * Experience working with an offshore or distributed engineering team - asynchronous collaboration, PR review, design documentation, * Prior experience building telehealth, healthcare, or patient-facing clinical apps * Familiarity with FHIR R4 data structures - Patient, Observation, MedicationRequest, CarePlan resources * Experience integrating LLM or AI agent response surfaces into a mobile UI (chat, structured guidance, goal tracking) * Expo or bare React Native workflow experience; Fastlane or equivalent CI/CD for mobile * Comfort reading and reviewing TypeScript/Node.js backend code to coordinate API contracts with the backend team * Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) for patient-facing healthcare apps ## Description We are hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to own and evolve the Grove patient-facing mobile application.
