ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: * Bachelors/Master's in Engineering. * Preferably relevant experience of 3 - 5 years. ## Description The MN RAID team is responsible for development, quality assurance and delivery of RAID UEFI, Windows and Linux drivers for the AMD laptops, desktops and workstations that support the AMD RAID solution. As a software engineer in this team, you will work on the latest AMD hardware and software. We are a vertically integrated team spanning from firmware development right up to application layer. If you understand the intricacies of Linux kernel and device drivers for storage this is the role for you. In this role, you will be actively participating in research, concept development and design ideation to create world class software and firmware. THE PERSON: The MN RAID Development team is on the lookout for a dynamic, energetic software engineer who can design, develop, and maintain clean and robust code and who are willing to take on new challenges and find innovative ways to problem solve. You will be working with a group of engineers to design, develop and validate a complete RAID solution and the newest platforms that AMD produce. We are looking for someone with a strong programming skill in C and C++ with exposure to X86 as well as source control (CVS/GIT/RMS) and/or Linux architecture.
